NoVA, DMV, Salisbury victorious in Week 12
Two teams solidified their spot atop the Major Arena Soccer League 3 table in Week 12 action. First place NoVA FC (7-2-0) slipped past a feisty Fredericksburg Fire (5-4-0) squad while host DMV Gunners (6-3-0) took sole possession of second with a home win over Philadelphia Spartans (5-3-0). Expansion side Salisbury Steaks kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a home win.

Jean Phillippe scored four goals to help lead NoVA past the Fire. Alton West scored three goals while Johnny De Souza and Johnathan Rivera each added a pair for the home team who outscored Fredericksburg 5-2 in the crucial third quarter.
RJ Fuentes and Uriah Bentick both scored a hat trick for the Fire.

DMV Gunners 9, Philadelphia Spartans 7
Matt Yingling and Greg Adams netted a pair each to power DMV past the Spartans. Darius Madison had two goals for Philadelphia who are now three points back of the Gunners.
Salisbury Steaks 6, Virginia Marauders 3
Agi Pachecho found the back of the net four times to help Salisbury defeat the Marauders.
