After dropping their season opener defending MASL 3 champion NoVA FC were eager to prove themselves on Saturday when they traveled to face the previously unbeaten Baltimore Kings. Powered by a pair of goals from both Junior Kadio and Jimmy Rivera, NoVA FC (1-1-0) handed the Kings (3-1-0) their first loss of the season with the final score 6-3.
NoVA led from the start with Kadio scoring the lone goal of the first quarter. Iliass Laghjibi, Rivera and Kadio added to that total to give the visitors a 4-1 advantage at the halftime break. Rivera and Sam Delgado would find the back of the net in the fourth to clinch the victory.
Antonios Araviakis scored all three goals for Baltimore.
